Individual Volunteer Opportunities:
Crisis Line Operator: Listen, assess and guide callers to the appropriate resources.
Crisis Response Advocate: Provide information, support and advocacy to victims of domestic violence and sexual assault at local hospital emergency rooms or other safe locations.
Crisis Intervention Advocate: This unique position staffs our crisis line AND responds to victims at local, safe locations to provide information, support and advocacy.
Grounds Crew Team Member: Complete basic tasks to keep our building and surrounding property maintained.
Special Events Volunteer: Assist with the planning and preparation for our fundraisers and awareness events.
Administrative Volunteer: Assist with filing, mail preparations, data entry and other tasks as needed.
Planned Shoppers: Purchase items for our shelter residents from our Needs List.
Skills Workshop Leaders: Professionals will provide an instructional course for our clients.
