Albion welcomes the opportunity to connect with students. To ensure the safety and confidentiality of those we serve, we have set the following guidelines:
Albion offers a variety of internships for most majors. Please visit our internship page to learn more.
Organize a fundraiser – One of the biggest needs we have is funding. As a local, non-profit agency, we provide services for free to those impacted by domestic and sexual violence. The cost to fund our programs and our clients’ needs is an ongoing struggle. Host a jeans day at your school or place of employment. Get creative and come up with your own unique idea to raise money!
Organize a donation drive – Albion is often in need of household items, hygiene products, cellular phones, and so much more! Organize a donation drive to focus on a specific item or several needed items.
All class projects must be approved and supervised by our Volunteer Specialist. Prior to getting started, contact our Volunteer Specialist, Brittany Naylor at firstname.lastname@example.org or 812-422-9372.
Albion is unable to accommodate job shadow requests due to the sensitive nature of the work that we do. The privacy of our clients is paramount and must be put first.
SERVICE LEARNING PROJECTS
Those that are seeking volunteer hours for a service learning project must contact us at least 2 months prior to the due date of the project. Opportunities include serving at our fall festival booth, grounds and building maintenance, or organize a fundraiser or donation drive.
